Colomer 1792 SLU continues the legacy of Colomer Munmany, Vic's legendary tannery with a history of more than two hundred years.

Always at the forefront of the sector, for more than two hundred years Colomer brought to bear know-how and technology which remain a global benchmark in the leather industry to this day. All that know-how and renown awakened the interest of Chinese multinational Henan Prosper, which acquired the know-how of Colomer Munmany and founded Colomer 1792 SLU

In October 2019 the Chinese group Henan Prosper, a global powerhouse in the leather industry, together with Colomer 1792 SLU, established its operational, logistical and commercial base in Les Masies de Voltregà to serve the entire European market.

The Chinese company invested €5 million in the construction of facilities covering more than 5,000m². Colomer 1792 SLU, the Chinese group's European hub, keeps stock of raw, semi-finished and finished leather. This enables Henan Prosper to provide a better distribution and sales service to European customers in terms of finished leathers (nappa, double face and decorative leathers), as well as to enter the market for purchasing fresh raw materials in Spain.

With its highly skilled workforce, experienced R&I department and large sales team working closely with customers around the world, Colomer 1792 SLU releases two seasonal collections of double face, nappa and velvet leathers with on-trend feels and looks to supply the garment, footwear, leather goods, glove and leather accessory industries.
